The company STAPRO is a significant supplier of information systems, diagnostic instruments, healthcare technology and also a provider of services in the field of information technology for healthcare. Since its founding in 1990, Stapro has steadily increased its market share and sales turnover for its own ASW and services. The subsidiary company STAPRO Slovensko s. r. o. has also been successfully operating in the Slovak healthcare market since 1993.

Stapro is also a holder of the certificate for environmental quality assurance according to ISO 14001:2004 and places emphasis on the fact that all activities are environmentally friendly. In September 2007, our Information Security Management system was audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the management systems standards ČSN ISO/IEC 27001:2006. When implemented, these systems are successful in minimising data leakage and safeguarding confidential information.

One of the main goals of the company is to increase the number of customers not just in domestic markets, but also in the context of central and Eastern Europe and to create “Best Practices” in cooperation with them for organizational and information support of processes in healthcare.

At the end of 2005, Stapro became 100% owner of the company Akord Software. This significant merger in the field of Czech and Slovak healthcare information technology combined the know-how and experience of the two most significant IT firms in the healthcare industry and defined a new common mission and goals.
